The former world champion Boxer of India is in the news after a video of her viral went on social media, where she can be seen that her husband Kabaddi player Deepak Niwas Hooda is attacking in the midst of divorce procedures. The incident reportedly took place on March 15 at a police station in Haryana's Hisar. Boera has previously applied for a divorce and claimed intimidation and mistreatment about dowry. In the video that surfaced on social media, Boora was seen during a conversation to Hooda and held him by his throat. The family members had to intervene while they separated them, but the heated arguments continued between the two parties in the police station.
Now, in a video, Boora said: “I don't want to talk about such things. He is interested in boys. I saw the videos. I was shocked. I will prove everything before the court. I will give all the evidence. I will prove what he has done me.

Previously, Boora submitted a FIR against her Asiad Bronze-winning Kabaddi player husband Deepak Hooda, accused him and his family of attacking her for dowry.

The two married in 2022. Boera entered the Fir against Hooda, also an Arjuna Awardee, in Haryana's Hisar.
“A FIR on 25 February was submitted on the basis of the complaint of SEEETY BOORA to her husband Deepak Hooda,” said Hisar, SHO of the female police station.
When asked if Hooda was asked to present his side, the SHO said: “We informed him 2-3 times, but he didn't show up.” When PTI reached for contact with Hooda, he defended his absence by referring his health that 'has taken a beating because of the trauma'. “I have submitted a medical certificate and applied for a later date. I will definitely go there (to the police station), but I will not make a negative remark to my wife. I have not allowed her to meet,” he said.
When he leveled the allegations that have been leveled by her against Hooda, the SHO of the female police station torture and abuse is “for more dowry” to the accusations.
“A requirement for a luxury car has been made and met, but her husband beats her, also increases the financial question,” said the SHO referring to Boera's allegations.
A case was registered under section 85 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita that relates to a husband or family member of the husband of a woman who subjected her to cruelty.
Hooda had disputed the Haryana Assembly survey 2024 without success as BJP -nominated from the Meham constituency in the Rohtak district.
He was part of the Indian Kabaddi team that won the gold medal at the South Asian Games in 2016 and the bronze in the Asian Games of 2014. He also participated in the Pro Kabaddi League.
