Bhopal:
A 25-year-old man was reportedly stabbed to death with a broken beer bottle by his 17-year-old wife and the friends of her beloved in Burhanpur of Madhya Pradesh, the police said on Thursday.
The victim, Golden Pandey aka Rahul, was stabbed 36 times by the accused in the vicinity of the ITI College on the Indore-ICEPUR highway. All four accused – the teenage girl, her lover and his two friends, one of whom is also a minor – were caught and undergo research.
According to Burhanpur Superintendent or Police (SP) Devendra Patidar, the incident took place when the couple, who married four months ago, returned home and eat home in a restaurant on a two -wheeler four months ago.
“While returning, the girl pretended to have dropped her slippers and asked her husband to stop the bike. While Rahul brought the two -wheeler to a halt, he was called by the two friends of her beloved, Yuvraj. The three accused him dragged him and put him 36 times with a broken beer bottle. Patidar said.
“The teenage girl did Yuvraj a video call to show him the body. The accused then threw the body into a nearby field and fled the place,” he added.
The police said the body was found on Sunday (April 13). They added that Rahul's family, who identified the body, said he was last spotted with his wife when they got out of the house together.
The police became suspicious after the teenage girl was found missing. Several teams were formed and the adults were arrested and the minors held.
Mr. Patidar said that the suspect has known the crime. Yuvraj's two friends, one of whom is Lalit Patil, first escaped to Itarsi and then to Ujjain after committing crime.
The four people are sued for murder, conspiracy to kill and hide evidence.
