A controversial ‘football festival’

Questions have been constantly raised about human rights issues during this year’s World Cup in Qatar, particularly regarding migrant workers and anti-homosexuality.
Nasser Al Khater, the director of the tournament’s organizing committee, stressed that Qatar has been treated “unfairly and unfairly” since it was given the right to host the tournament 11 years ago.
