Chandigarh:
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parband -Hak committee strongly condemned the American authorities on Sunday because they are reportedly not Sikh deportees who were part of the second series of illegal Indian immigrants brought from America could wear their turboans.
The SGPC statement came after a few visuals appeared on social media with Sikh deports without tulip tires while completing their immigration formalities at the Amritsar airport.
An American military aircraft with 116 illegal Indian immigrants ended up at the Amritsar airport on Saturday evening, with one deportee that they were fascinated with their legs chained during the trip. The new party deportees include 65 immigrants from Punjab, 33 from Haryana and eight from Gujarat.
SGPC officials, who were delegated to grant 'Langar' and bus service for deportees on Saturday evening at the airport, provided 'Dastar' (turban) to Sikh Deporteers.
One of the Sikh deportees also claimed that when they landed at Amritsar Airport, they did not wear tuler tires. He said that when they entered the US illegally, they were asked to remove their tuler tires.
SGPC Secretary -General Gurchharan Singh Grewal condemned the American authorities because they reportedly did not allow their tulips to wear.
It is a matter of regret that deportees have been brought into buoys and Sikh deportees did not wear tulips, he said.
Grewal said that the SGPC will soon be discussing the issue with the American authorities. “Turban is the part of a Sikh,” he said.
Shiromani Akali Dal -leader Bikram Singh Majithia also condemned the American authorities for sending Sikh deported without tulip tires.
He also insisted on the Ministry of External Affairs to immediately record the case with the US authorities, so that such an incident will never be repeated in the future.
