Days after former NFL-Quarterback Mark Sanchez and now that FOX Sports was arrested after a violent incident in an alley in the center of Indianapolis, US President Donald Trump called him a “nice guy” and said “It was a shame.”
Speaking of the incident, Donald Trump said: “That was a shame. He is a nice guy, I don't know what happened. Something bad happened. Something crazy happened.”
“I can only report that he was a nice guy … I know him a little,” the president added.
Mark Sanchez is confronted with three charges for crimes, including injuries with injuries, after an argument in Indianapolis in which he was sprayed and stabbed with PepperSpray, according to judicial documents on Sunday.
He was also accused of public drunkenness by the Public Prosecution Service of Marion County on Sunday and the unlawful penetration of a vehicle, after an incident in the early hours of Saturday morning.
“This incident should never have happened,” said Marion County, prosecutor Ryan Mears in a statement, and added: “What started as a disagreement between a 38-year-old former professional athlete and a 69-year-old man should not have escalated to violence or be seriously injured.”
“As with every case, we will follow the facts and law, where they also lead.”
According to the sworn explanation, Mark Sanchez confronted the driver of a truck that was parked at the charging platform of the hotel while the driver exchanged frying oil for the kitchen.
The sworn explanation also stated that Mark Sanchez smelled of alcohol and without permission entered the truck from Toole, after which he physically blocked Tree and pushed, which then poured Sanchez with pepper spray.
The truck driver, identified as Perry Toole, told the researchers that he feared for his life.
He said that he had first sprayed in his face with pepper spray and when Sánchez continued, he used a knife to put him down, claiming that it was out of self -defense.
Sanchez was selected by the New York Jets fifth overall in the NFL design of 2009 and helped them in each of his first two seasons at the AFC champion match.
In an eight-year-old NFL career he also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Washington.
