Several netizens applauded the officer and his speed in catching the thief
A video captured how a Delhi police officer caught a pickpocket red-handed while trying to steal a biker's wallet. The incident, captured on camera, shows a young boy attempting to steal the motorcyclist's wallet on the pretext of helping him start his vehicle. As soon as he made his move, constable Sachin from Sadar police station came running and arrested him red-handed.
The official X-handler of Delhi Police shared the video on May 8. “While patrolling the Sadar Bazaar Police Station area, Constable Sachin suspected a cognizable crime and ran away, caught the person and arrested him,” the caption read. The date and location of the incident are unknown.

Since the video was shared, it has garnered over 1,60,000 views, 2,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Several netizens applauded the officer and his speed and attention in catching the thief. Many also emphasized the need for alert police officers to prevent crimes in the city.
