Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday showed off his culinary skills by making dosas along with locals at a roadside eatery in Telangana’s Jagitial district. Mr Gandhi was on his ‘Vijayabheri Yatra’, a foot march he undertook to connect with the people of Telangana ahead of the Assembly elections in the state. On Friday, while traveling to Jagtial, Mr Gandhi stopped at the Nukapalli Bus Stand (NAC) and tried his culinary skills by making the South Indian dish on a roadside tiffin cart.
The Indian National Congress shared a video of Gandhi making dosas at a roadside stall. In the clip, he can be seen placing the dosa batter on a hot pan, spreading it with a bowl and turning it over. Before starting the process, he is also likely to ask the street vendor about the process of making the dish. The eatery shop owner and others, on the other hand, are seen as guides for the Congress leader.
At the end of the clip, Mr. Gandhi serves the dosas to the people, who cheer him on. “Rahul Anna,” INC wrote in the caption of the post, along with a heart emoji.

A leader with a penchant for change!” read the caption.

Meanwhile, Mr Gandhi making dosas is not the first time he has been seen interacting with locals. Last week, the Congress leader in Mizoram was spotted riding a two-wheeler in Aizawl. He was seen arriving at the Aizawl Club on a scooter to meet party leaders and local media. He was also seen riding a two-wheeler and reaching the residence of former Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla.
