A 57-year-old woman in the Prakasam district, frustrated by her son's misconduct, is said to have killed him and explained his body with the help of family members and his body, the police said on Saturday.
Prakasam Superintendent or Police, AR Damodar said that K Lakshmi Devi (57) reportedly her son, K Shyam Prasad (35), a cleaner, killed on 13 February.
The family members of Devi would have helped her in killing Prasad.
“Unable to tolerate her son's perverse and indecent behavior, she killed (Lakshmi devi),” Damodar told PTI, adding that Prasad had also behaved indecently with his aunts and other family members in Bengaluru, Khammmam and Hyderabad.
Prasad, who was unmarried, had also reportedly tried to rap his maternal aunts in Hyderabad and Narasaroopeta, the police said.
According to the police, he was killed with the help of an ax or a sharp weapon.
After the murder, his body was cut into five pieces, filled in three pockets and dumped in the Nakalagandi channel in the village of Cumbum.
The suspect, now on the run, have been booked under BNS sections 103 (1) and 238; The police are looking for them.
