A video that circulated on social media has started widespread indignation after a woman secretly filmed her rapido driver and ashamed him, which led to indignation online.
In the clip, which has now become viral, the woman claimed that she was forced to cancel her Rapido ride because there was not enough room for her to sit. She claimed that the rider occupied too much space and also had a large backpack, so she had no room to drive.
Without informing the rider, the woman filmed him from behind and mocked his appearance. Speaking in Hindi, she said: “Rapido Wala Bulaya, Rapido Wala Dookh Rahe Ho? Main Chupke Video Bana Rahi Hoon, Jyada Offend Na Ho Jaye, but Main Kaha BaithUngee? Koi Mujhe Batayega, B ** Od ..”
Although she claimed that she did not want to insult the driver, social media users pointed to the hypocrisy and condemned the woman for the embarrassment of body ashaps and the violation of the man's privacy without taking his permission.
“Body-Shaming is not funny”: Internet responds
The video has activated a wave of angry reactions online. Many users shouted the insensitivity of women and pointed out that mocking someone's body type, especially a stranger at work, is unacceptable.
A user wrote: “She thinks shame a hard -working, honest man is good. She could have easily canceled the ride, but she chose to record a video and spotted him online for millions.”
Another said: “It is really discouraging to see that someone is doing his best to be ashamed of a hard -working person who just tried to do his work. If she had a problem, the cancellation of the ride would have been enough. But choose to take him and publicly mock for millions? That says more about her than he.
Several users have also discussed privacy problems, with one post -lecture: “Taking someone without permission and then shame on social media must be taken seriously.”
