A new pre-polste survey showed that women in Bihar are likely to vote for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), while most men can vote for the Mahagathbandhan.

The opinion poll that was previously released by Inkinsight can also suggest that the Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar is the top choice of women for Bihar Chief Minister, while Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav is the popular choice among the youth.

For the pristine JD (U) of Nitish Kumar and the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) are part of the NDA in Bihar, while the RJD of Tejashwi Yadav and the congress are part of the Grand Alliance or the Mahagathbandhan.

Bihar election: For whom will young people vote?

The youth in Bihar may prefer to vote for the NDA, but want RJD's Tejashwi Yadav if the CM revealed the Inkinsight opinion poll.

About 44.6 percent of the respondents in the 18-29 age group said they would rather vote for the NDA, while 39.5 percent said they would rather vote for the Mahagathbandhan. Only 0.76 percent said they will vote for the Jan Suraj party.

Tejashwi Yadav, however, has a strong lead over his competitors such as the CM face. About 42 percent of people who were investigated in the 18-29 age group preferred Tejashwi Yadav as the next bihar CM.

Only 27.7 percent of the respondents in that age group voted for the sitting CM, Nitish Kumar. About 2 percent chose Jan Suraaj Party Leader Prashant Kishor, 7 percent opted for LJP's Chirag Paswan, 1.61 percent chose BJP minister Samrat Chaudary and 13.39 percent said they want a “new face of BJJA”.

The survey also mentioned CM choice for people in the age groups who are 30-39 years (Tejashwi Yadav), 40-49 years (Nitish Kumar), 50-59 years (Nitish Kumar) and that above 60 (Tejashwi Yadav).

Bihar election: Who will women vote for?

The NDA is the best choice of the majority of women in Bihar. The opinion poll suggested that 60.4 percent of women will probably vote for the NDA, while only 28.4 percent can choose Mahagathbandhan.

About 45 percent women surveyed said they want Nitish Kumar as the Bihar Premier, while about 31 percent said they want Tejashwi Yadav as the prime minister, the Inkinsight opinion poll.

In particular, the majority of men (45.8 percent) said they would prefer Tejashwi Yadav as the CM.

Not Nitish Kumar, but Tejashwi Yadav is overall top cm -choice

The Inkinsight Opinion Poll is the poll of the second opinion that Tejashwi Yadav placed as a top choice for the CM post. No fewer than 39 percent of all people investigated in the opinion poll said they want Tejashwi Yadav as the Bihar CM. About 34 percent chose Nitish Kumar as the cm.

Earlier, a C-Voter survey indicated that Tejashwi Yadav is the most preferred candidate as the next Prime Minister of Bihar. Analyst-Politician Prashant Kishor took second place in the ranking. Nitish Kumar became third in the rank.

Bihar -election 2025

The elections in Bihar will probably take place between October and November this year. The election committee still has to announce the poll schedule. This year the competition will be between Nitish Kumar's (JDU) and BJP-conducted NDA, and the Mahagathbandhan led by the congress and Tejashwi Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
