The Delhi Assembly has been set to discuss the renamation of the Mustafabad Assembly constituency, as well as the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) audit report on the functioning of the Delhi Transport Corporation among other issues on Friday.
According to the List of Business (LOB), the Delhi Assemblage will focus on the “CAG Audit Report on the functioning of 'Delhi Transport Corporation'” as part of the session agenda.
The meeting will also discuss a resolution that has been derived by BJP MLA and deputy speaker Mohan Singh Bisht “to change the name of the Mustafabad Assembly Electoral District in the SHIV Vihar constituency, given the feelings of Kin District of the voters, read the Lob.
In addition, AAP MLA Sanjeev JHA will present a resolution about the “implementation of the free distribution of gas flashes on special occasions by the Delhi government,” it added.
Earlier in the day, the Delhi Legislative Assembly, under the leadership of BJP MLA ABHAY Verma, visited a motion to remove the Committee for Long to the Committee for Voor Rights, the Committee for Petitions and the Commission for questions and references from the sixth and seventh legal meetings.
The motion, presented by Verma with the permission of the speaker, was assumed during the current session of the eighth legislative meeting.

The motion was concluded with a resolution stating: “That is why this house decides that no further action is being taken about the hanging cases referred to the Privileges Committee, the Committee for Petitions and the Commission questions and references during the sixth and seventh legislative meeting and that they are considered rejected.”
The legislative meeting of Delhi adopted a motion on March 27 to remove eight pending lawsuits, including those submitted by DELHI government. These cases were previously investigated by various committees, such as privileges, questions and references and petitions. (ANI)
