The latest Instagram post from BTS member and singer Jungkook has been viewed more than 18 million times and has impressed many fans. Recently, the 24-year-old singer shared his fitness routine with his Instagram followers where he saw a sublime boxing routine practice. Jungkook’s quick and nimble moves as he punched and dodged the attacks of his pro boxing trainer.
Jungkook’s Instagram post can be your inspiration if you want to diversify your fitness routine. Physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital, told Harvard Health that boxing has many health benefits because it requires constant thinking, changing their position and attitude. Arslanian described fitness boxing as a complete package because “You swing your arms, move the muscles of your arms and shoulders, strengthening your upper body. And squatting in the boxer with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, strengthens your core muscles, back and legs.
By incorporating Jungkook’s fitness boxing routine into your lifestyle, you are sure to build stronger muscles and help you perform simple yet strenuous tasks such as lifting something heavy or building stamina.
Harvard Health also mentions that fitness boxing is beneficial aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise is a great way to get your heart pumping and helps lower your risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Fitness boxing can strengthen your bones and muscles, burn more calories and even improve your mood. Aerobics can also increase your stamina, allowing you to climb stairs or continue walking with great ease.
However, boxing should not be included in your fitness routine if you have osteoporosis or osteoarthritis of the hands. Arslanian said shadow boxing should only be considered if they have such a bone and muscle-related condition and make sure their hands are not making contact with a target.
