Kangana Ranaut, the Bollywood actress, spoke about how taxing political campaigns are compared to working in films. She has campaigned aggressively and vigorously for the Lok Sabha elections.
The actress said, “Filmi's struggle with filmmaking is like a joke in front of this hustle and bustle.” The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) fielded Kangana Ranaut from the Mandi constituency of Himachal Pradesh. The state is scheduled to vote in the final phase, Phase 7, on June 1.

The Bollywood actress took to social media platform Instagram to share her views on election campaigning and filmmaking. She posted a video from one of her campaigns along with the caption: “After January 6 Sabhas (public meeting) and multiple meetings with party workers, after 450 kms in one day in rural mountains with worse roads and still on the road at night. “
The post went on to say, “After not having any good meal or snack times, I sit in my car wondering if filmmaking is having trouble making movies when it's a joke in front of these crowds uffff.”

Kangana Ranaut will take on Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh, son of six-time chief minister Virbhadra Singh and scion of Rampur's erstwhile “royal family”. This year's fight is notable because the clash between the two richest titans, a celebrity and a 'royal', is predestined. Both rivals have launched high-level campaigns, actively campaigning even with offensive outbursts.

Kangana Ranaut's key agendas include revival of all abandoned projects, improving connectivity with remote tribal areas, popularizing local cuisines and traditional clothes, and promoting women-oriented rural tourism in Seraj and Karsog.
On the other hand, Vikramaditya Singh has vowed to make Mandi a smart city. Other agendas on his list include construction of the Jalori Jot Tunnel on the Rohtang Tunnel Line, connecting the remote Pangi area of Chamba with Tissa, and construction of the Beas Riverbank.
