On Friday, the Karnataka meeting adopted a bill that proposes reservation for the Muslim community in contracts granted by the state government guided by the congress. The Muslim quota law proposes a reservation of 4 percent for people from religion in public contracts.
The conference government led by Siddaramaiah in Karnataka approved the bill in the midst of chaos of the opposition led by BJP.

According to a report from India Today, the BJP called the 4 percent Muslim quota 'unconstitutional' and promised to take legal steps against the decision.
According to the report, BJP leaders saw the well storming and sloganiced against the ruling congress government. They also climbed to the speaker's chair and deepen the protest.
The BJP leaders also tore the copies of the 4 percent Muslim quota Bill document and threw them to the speaker.

Images of the Karnataka meeting also show that the opposition leader climbs the source of the house where the speaker sits and throws copies of the 4 percent Muslim quota for him.
Marshals had to power the BJP MLAs that had surrounded the speaker's chair.
4 percent Muslim quota Bill: Congress and BJP response
Opposition BJP justified protests and said that the government of Karnataka has approved the 4 percent Muslim quota account instead of discussing the hunger trap scam.
“Instead of discussing the Honey Trap -swam, the Chief Minister was busy presenting the 4 percent Muslim quota Bill and that is why we protested. The government MLAs also tore papers and threw books at us; we didn't hurt anyone,” Bjp Mla Bharath Shetty cited the media.
In the meantime, the government of the ruling congress explained that the 4 percent Muslim quota law was a step towards guaranteeing social justice and economic opportunities for minorities in the state.
