While the Lokhha is preparing to discuss Operation Sindoor on Monday, the parliamentary minister of affairs Kiren Rijiju called on the Ramayan's Raman Rekha 'reference and said Pakistan crossed the red lines that was pulled by India.
“Discussion about #operationsindoor to start today … When Ravan crossed the Laxman Rekha, Lanka burned. When Pakistan crossed the red lines, drawn by India, terrorist camps stood opposite the fire,” Rijiju wrote in both English and Hindi in a post on X.
Operation Sindoor, the Indian military response to Pahalgam's terror attack that claimed 26 lives in April, will be discussed at noon in the Lok Sabha during the current monsoon session.
In a message almost two hours prior to the start of Monday's session, Rijiju placed his tweet with a song in the voice of Kailash Kher, whose texts said the operation was for India's “to, job, Swabhimaan” (dignity, pride, self -respect).
The one-minute clip starts with the Hindi line of PM Narendra Modi that dedicates Operation Sindoor to “every mother, sister and daughter of the country.”
The MPs have agreed to discuss the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha on Monday and Tuesday in the Rajya Sabha.
Both sides, the MPs of the ruling NDA and those of the opposition, have agreed to a 16 -hour debate marathon in every house, which in practice always extends longer.
According to the aforementioned agenda of the Lok Sabha, the house will have a “special discussion about India's strong, successful and decisive operation Sindoor in response to terrorist attack in Pahalgam”.
In addition to the battery of ministers and leaders such as Anurag Thakur, Sudhanshu Trivedi and Nishikant Dubey, the ruling NDA members of the seven multi-party delegations were expected to play to travel to more than 30 world capitals to present India's case after operation Sindoor.
They include shrikant shind from the Shiv Sena, Sanjay Jha of the JD (U) and Harish Balayogi of the TDP.
However, there is a big question about whether Shashi Tharoor, who led the delegation to the US, will be chosen as a speaker, among other things. The enthusiastic approval of the Lok Sabha member of the government's action after the terror attack by the Lok Sabha member has soured his ties with his party.
