The INDIA bloc held a crucial meeting in the national capital Delhi on Tuesday where top leaders discussed their future plans to take on the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) unitedly in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
News Agency PTI reported that no final decision had been taken on the face of the INDIA bloc Prime Minister. The report added that Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge believes that “winning first is important”. Kharge said: “I work for the oppressed. Let's win first, then we'll see. I'm not looking for anything.”
During the meeting, INDIA bloc members discussed the suspension of opposition MPs from parliament and condemned news agency ANI reported.
During the meeting, INDIA bloc leaders deliberated on a blueprint for a joint campaign, a seat-sharing arrangement and reshaping their strategy after the setback in the recent assembly elections in which the Congress lost to the BJP in Madhya Pradesh , Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
The meeting took place at the Ashoka Hotel here in the presence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP president Sonia Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee and former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

-After the INDIA bloc meeting, MDMK (Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) MP Vaiko said, “West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal proposed Mallikarjun Kharge's name as candidate for INDIA bloc PM.”

We have been saying it for a long time that union HM Amit Shah or Prime Minister Modi should come to Parliament and speak in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on the issue of security breach of Parliament, but they refuse to do so. ..” Kharge added
