National Hug Day 2022: A hug is a sweet, magical gesture that provides the perfect expression of love and care. And thanks to a plethora of Hindi movies for portraying some of the most beautiful hugs on screen over the years. In celebration of National Hug Day, which today falls on January 21, we are celebrating this day by bringing up six memorable hugging scenes from Bollywood movies:

It is one of Salman Khan’s favorite movies. A scene from this film, in which a little lost girl from Pakistan, Munni, hugs Bajrangi (played by Salman), left everyone in tears. It’s one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the film.
RANK THE BASANTIA
It is one of the most loved heartwarming movies. The scene where all the main characters come together for that one group hug with AR Rahman’s Roobaro in the background, does strike a chord.
SILSILA
Speaking of hugs, who can forget this unforgettable scene between Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha in Silsila. This couple was one of the most loved couples on screen at the time.
MOHABBATEIN
This Yash Chopra movie has some of the best hugging moments. The hugs of Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were the most cherished and the chemistry exuded a rare freshness that made Mohabbatein’s plot more enjoyable.
