The 58 seats that voted in Phase 6 of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on May 25 recorded a voter turnout of around 61.75 percent, according to the Election Commission of India.
This is slightly less than the turnout for these 58 seats in 2019, which was 64.73 percent, excluding the demarcated seat of Anantnag-Rajouri, the seat of Jammu and Kashmir.
West Bengal recorded the highest voter turnout with 80 percent of voters, followed by 63.76 percent in Jharkhand and 71 percent in Odisha. Haryana recorded a voter turnout of 62 percent, while Delhi recorded a voter turnout of 58.3 percent and Bihar 55.24 percent. Uttar Pradesh recorded 54.03 percent and Anantnag Rajouri seat of Jammu and Kashmir recorded a voter turnout of 54.46 percent, the highest since 1984.

These figures correspond to the latest update on the estimated turnout for the elections on the election commission's turnout app. The final figures will be announced in a day or two.
Elections to 486 of the 543 Lok Sabha seats were over at the end of phase 6 elections on Saturday. The remaining 57 seats will vote in the final phase on June 1. The results of seven phases will be announced on June 4.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday released the absolute number of voters for all five phases of the Lok Sabha elections and condemned the pattern of false narratives and mischievous schemes to disrupt the electoral process.
The first three phases of polling showed lower turnout than in 2019. However, turnout has increased since phase 4 voting.
The voter turnout in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections on May 20 was 62.2 per cent, which is higher than the polls in the same seats in 2019, when it was 61.82 per cent. The fourth phase of the elections on May 13 recorded a turnout of 69.16 percent, which is slightly higher than the 68.8 percent turnout in these seats in 2019.

The third phase, held on May 7, saw a turnout of 65.68 percent, down from 66.58 percent in 2019. The second phase, held on April 26, saw a turnout of 66.71 percent, down from 69.43 percent in 2019 and the first phase of According to the Election Commission, the turnout on April 19 was 66.14 percent, down from 69.29 percent in 2019.
The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which is seeking a record third term under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has set a target of winning 400 seats this election. The ruling alliance is being challenged by the opposition parties led by Congress under the banner of INDIA bloc.
