New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will chair Friday pre-budget consultations with stakeholders from various sectors related to the upcoming general budget 2022-23. The meeting will take place virtually.
She will consult with representatives from the service and trade sectors as well as experts from industry, infrastructure and climate change.
“The Union Finance Minister, Smt. @nsitharaman, will chair pre-budget consultations with stakeholders from different sectors in 2 sessions tomorrow, December 17, 2021, in New Delhi in connection with the forthcoming general budget 2022-23. The meetings will be held virtually,” The Treasury Department said in a tweet.
“FM Smt. @nsitharaman will consult with representatives of the service and trade sector in the morning and with the 2nd group of experts from Industry, Infrastructure and Climate Change in the afternoon,” it added.
