Gasoline and diesel prices in Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Noida and Gurugram on 30th Aug 2023
Gasoline and diesel prices on August 30: The price of petrol and diesel remained the same on Tuesday, August 30 in major cities such as New Delhi, Calcutta, Mumbai and Chennai. The petrol and diesel rates for each day, new or constant, are announced at 06:00 that day. However, these vary from state to state due to value added tax (VAT), freight charges, local taxes, etc.
Gasoline has become more expensive in Bihar by 37 paise and diesel by 34 paise. Petrol and diesel have become 47 paise more expensive in Chhattisgarh. The price of petrol diesel has also increased in Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Odisha. On the other hand, petrol and diesel have become cheaper by 70 paise in Gujarat. Gasoline has become cheaper in Maharashtra by 89 paise and diesel by 86 paise. Similarly, petrol in Punjab has become 51 paise cheaper and diesel 49 paise. Petrol-diesel has also become cheaper in UP.
Currently, petrol in Delhi is sold for Rs 96.72 per litre, while diesel is sold for Rs 89.62 per litre. While in Mumbai petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre. While petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 106.03 and diesel costs Rs 92.76 per litre. On the other hand, petrol in Chennai is sold for Rs 102.63 and diesel for Rs 94.24 per litre.
