– 3 tbsp Moong daal or split yellow lentils
– 2 tablespoons of oatmeal
– 3 tablespoons green gram daal
– 2 tablespoons Masoor daal (red lentils)
– Fennel seed (saunf)
Preparation method Ayurvedic ubtan:
Step 1: Heat a pan and add all the above ingredients. Stir the mixture over a low heat and now wait for the ingredients to become fragrant. You can hear the spices crackle and the lentils pop. Once it happens, remove the mixture from the heat and keep it aside to grind.
Step 2: Once the mixture has cooled, put it in a mixer and grind it into a fine powder.
Step 3: In the ubtan mixture, add a spoonful of sandalwood powder. Empty it into an airtight container and keep it.
When you want to use it, mix one tablespoon of the natural ubtan mixture, two tablespoons of milk and two tablespoons of curd. Mix it well until the consistency is smooth to apply.
