Snapchat launches lenses to Vasant Panchami and Saraswati Puja. to celebrate

Multimedia instant messaging app Snapchat has launched several AR experiences to highlight Vasant Panchami (aka Basant Panchami) or Saraswati Puja as India prepares for the onset of spring. These new localized lenses and themed Bitmojis will help capture the joy of this festive period and pay tribute to the goddess Saraswati.

The new lenses give Snapchatters a vibrant canvas of festive designs and wish “Happy Vasant Panchami” to those who watch it.

From February 4-6, there will also be a section in Lens Explorer dedicated to all community-made Vasant Panchami specialty lenses.

This includes a newly developed Vasant Panchami lens from Mohnish Raut, an online lens maker who is part of the Original Lens maker at Snapchat. Previously, he has provided some unique lenses that showcased his creativity and skills as a lens maker on Snapchat.

From countless colorful lenses, there is something for everyone to create and share their own unique greeting.
