T-Series, Asia’s largest music label, announced Monday its foray into Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) in partnership with Hefty Entertainment, a division of Hungama, one of the largest digital media entertainment companies in South Asia. This industry first for the global digital entertainment industry will witness the two leaders raising the bar for entertainment creation and consumption through Hefty Entertainment – a Web 3.0 initiative from Hungama.

“Now that we have got the ball rolling, we look forward to expanding and increasing the value of our content, leading to a further and rapid expansion of the global digital entertainment industry. Providing a future of potential, interactivity and collaboration for our communities around the world,” Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and MD T-Series said in a statement.

As a result, Hungama creates NFTs, rare collectibles, and unlocks special moments from the T-Series’ vast catalog of new and existing content.
