Maharashtra: Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Leader Chhagan Bhujbal said that on May 20, on Tuesday he will be included in the main minister Devendra Fadnavis-conducted cabinet in Maharashtra in Maharashtra. This is the return of Bhujbal to the ministerial office after a long gap.

“I have been informed that I will be included in the State cabinet. The oedceremony will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m.,” Bhujbal said by news agency PTI On Monday evening.

The Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), which leads the prevailing Mahayuti coalition in Maharashtra, has confirmed the development, the agency said that sources quoted. The experienced politician will be sworn in by Maharashtra Gouverneur CP Radhakrishnan in Raj Bhavan.

Specuals about the next move from Bhujbal

Bhujbal was one of the 10 ministers who were dropped from the new Ministers Council, with 16 new faces that were sworn in in Maharashtra in December. Bhujbal, 77, whose political career includes itself for several decades, was absent during the expansion of the cabinet. There were reports that Bhujbal could then leave the NCP.

CM Fadnavis and his two representatives Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar took oath on December 5. The cabinet was then expanded with the suction of 39 ministers on December 15.

Bhujbal, a former minister and a prominent OBC face in the state, has since been openly expressed. The former Food and Civil Supplies Minister had expressed his disappointment and later skipped the winter session of the state legislator.

Bhujbal's Inlcusion in the cupboard

The inclusion of Bhujbal in the cabinet follows the resignation of Dhananjay Munde, a fellow – -ncp -heavyweight that resigned in March as the food, civil supplies and Minister of Consumer Protection. Munde had resigned under the health reasons. But his departure from the cabinet came across the background of his closest assistant Walmik Karad who was mentioned as an important accused in the murder case Sarpanch Santosh Dshmukh.

Bhujbal, the MLA of Yeola in the Nashik district, served as a cabinet minister, including as a deputy CM, in various governments. The decision with regard to the allocation of portfolios to Bhujbal rests with the Chief Minister and will be announced after the curse ceremony, the agency said.

The prevailing Mahayuti coalition consists of the BJP, the Shiv Sena led by Vice -Minister -President Eknath Shinde and the NCP led by Deputy CM Ajit Pawar.

Known for dissatisfaction

Bhujbal that belongs to the Mali community is known for dissatisfaction. In 2023, Bhujbal's statements during the Maratha agitation for reserves did not go well with the government of Mahayuti led by Eknath Shinde. Bhujbal – then a minister – focused open to Maratha leader Manoj Jarange Patil.

He offered to stop from the cabinet on November 16, 2023.

Even before 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Bhujbal reportedly wanted to contest from Nashik. NCP -Chef Ajit Pawar, however, left the chair for Shiv Sena's Hemant Godse, which made Bhujbal upset. He also hoped to be nominated as Rajya Sabha, but Ajit Pawar chose his wife Sunetra Pawar instead.

After his poor performance in the election of Lok Sabha, there were rumors that Bhujbal was planning to say the UDDHAV Thakeray-guided Shiv Sena (UBT).
