Bihar: Union Minster Chirag Paswan, on Saturday, claimed that his opponents reportedly hatched a “conspiracy” to blow him up “with a bomb”.
The explosive claim of Paswan comes a week after a Lok Janshakti party leader said that Chirag had received a death threat via social media. The party chef made the comments while tackling a rally in the Munger of Bihar, where there must be polls of the meeting later this year.
The Lok Janshakti party president also hurled various barbs to his alienated uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras, and the RJD of Lalu Prasad with which the latter is tuned, without mentioning one of his opponents, PTI reported.
'Let him be dragged out of his house'
The 43-year-old leader, who recently refers to himself in the third person in tackling public meetings, said that his opponents have always “tried to stop Chirag Paswan.”
“There have always been attempts by the opponents of Chirag Paswan to stop him. They split his match and let him drag him out later, so he had to take care of himself on the street. But nothing could break Paswan,” said the leader.
Paswan, who sidelined himself in the Lok Janshakti party founded by his deceased father Ram Vilas Paswan after a split led by his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras, remembered his time in political insulation. He spoke about the difficult phase that was spent in the wilderness before he was brought into the fold by the BJP, who offered him an alliance prior to the Lokha elections from last year.
“Many people are angry with Chirag Paswan's 'Bihar First, Bihari First' Slogan, who strikes to the roots of their caste's politics. Such people had ensured that the state was in poverty and backlog in power and now to power and now, before the cavities of the meeting, they tried the meeting, they tried the meeting. Hajipur MP, PTI reported.
How did the party leaders of Chirag Paswan respond?
Leaders of the Lok Janshakti party (RAM Vilas), who responded to the striking claim of Paswan, said that Chirag may have referred to the recent FIR -suits with regard to a threat to the MP.
“It may have been a reference to the FIR that has recently been submitted against a social media trol. Chirag Ji may have used it for rhetoric,” News Wire PTI quoted an LJP leader.
According to the LJP leader, Paswan referred to a complaint from the police submitted to the Cyber police station in Patna, by the main spokesperson for the party Rajesh Kumar Bhatt, against an Instagram user who had threatened to blow Paswan.
