(DailyExpertNews) — Beginning Feb. 17, face coverings will be optional for indoor and outdoor fully vaccinated guests at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
Face coverings remain mandatory for all guests 2 years and older on enclosed transportation vehicles, including Disney buses, monorails, and skyliner.
Disney’s change follows Universal Orlando in Florida, which on Saturday lifted the requirement for indoor and outdoor face coverings for fully vaccinated guests.
Unvaccinated guests are encouraged to wear face coverings indoors, Universal Orlando said in a statement to DailyExpertNews.
In California, Universal Hollywood still requires that guests wear face coverings at all times, both indoors and out, regardless of vaccination status in accordance with a Los Angeles County face covering mandate.
Under Los Angeles County rules, Universal Hollywood also has a vaccination or Covid-19 negative test requirement for all guests ages 5 and older.
