Vikram Dev Dutt has been appointed Air India CMD in the rank and remuneration of Additional Secretary.
New Delhi: Vikram Dev Dutt, a 1993 IAS officer from the cadre of Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT), has been appointed chairman and general manager (CMD) of Air India, Air India reported Friday. .
Dutt is taking over from Rajiv Bansal, secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, who has until now been at the helm of Air India, the release said.
Dutt has been appointed Air India CMD in the rank and remuneration of Additional Secretary.
Prior to this assignment, Dutt served as the Chief Secretary of the Services Department in March 2021.
Previously, he was appointed as the Chief Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of Delhi in June 2020.
