Virat Kohli will play his 100th test match when he takes on the field against Sri Lanka in Mohali
Former Indian cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, the Chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sourav Ganguly and Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team Rahul Dravid, paid tribute and wished Virat Kohli every success and welcomed him to the “100 -Test Club.” Kohli has played 99 Tests for India so far and will be eager to take to the field for the 100th time on Friday at Mohali in Mohali, where India will take on Sri Lanka in the first Test.
BCCI posted a heartfelt video in which they paid their heartfelt tribute to Kohli and wished him for his “landmark test”. The caption of the video is as follows:
“Welcome to 100 Test club Virat Kohli. #TeamIndia greats share their thoughts on @imVkohli’s landmark Test, his achievements and the impact he has had on Indian cricket.”

In 168 Testinnings, Kohli has amassed 7,962 runs at an average of 50.39 with 27 hundreds and 28 fifties.
In view of his important opportunity for the ex-Indian Test skipper, the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) recently changed its stance on allowing spectators into the stands. In a statement, PCA revealed that the Test will not be played behind closed doors.
