Former England skipper Michael Vaughan on Thursday praised Delhi batter Yash Dhull for his incredible first-class debut in the ongoing Ranji Trophy Elite Group H match. Yash Dhull scored a ton against Tamil Nadu in the ongoing Elite Group H match here at Barsapara Cricket Stadium on Thursday. “100 on his first-class debut… Yash Dhull is a player we will be seeing a lot in the years to come,” Vaughan tweeted. Dhull was sent out to open and spawned his century with just 133 balls using 16 boundaries.

In the ongoing match, Tamil Nadu won the toss and chose to bowl first.
When Dhull was sacked by M. Mohammed at 97, the ball turned out to be no ball and the young Delhi batter was given a reprieve.
Previously, Dhull had led India to a record fifth U19 World Cup win after the boys in blue defeated England in the top match.

The Ranji Trophy was to be held in two stages and it has now been confirmed that the pre-Indian Premier League (IPL) stage would run from February 10 to March 15. The post-IPL phase would run from May 30 to June 26. The Ranji Trophy will be played 64 games over 62 days this season.
