On the night of March 21, a pony was running loose in the west-central state of Alabama.
The Tuscaloosa miniature horse, named “Ginuwine,” gave police a run for their money on 30th Avenue East and First Street East on Tuesday night.

Three officers engaged in a low-speed foot chase, ramping Ginuwine up and down and following people’s backyards for nearly two hours.
“He eventually got caught and was happy to get pets and pose for selfies,” police said.
He is now in a safe place and so are the people around.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department has arranged a permanent home in case they don’t find out where Ginuwine came from.
