Washington:
At least 14 people were dead and dozens of injured after violent tornadoes fell over the Central United States, officials said on Saturday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed 11 “Storm -related fatalities” in a statement about X, and said that local authorities “worked tirelessly to help people in need and assess the damage.”

The State Police reported downstairs trees and high -voltage lines, as well as damage to residential and commercial buildings, with some areas that are seriously affected by “tornados, thunderstorms and large hail.”
Six fatalities were reported in Wayne County in Missouri, three in Ozark County – where several injuries were also reported – and one in the provinces of Butler and Jefferson, the police said.
In the neighboring state of Arkansas, officials said that three people had died and 29 were injured in the storm.
Further tornados were predicted on Saturday in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.
