At the UN, the Iranian president demands that the US end sanctions

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi demanded an end to US sanctions on the clerical state on Tuesday after halting talks on restoring a nuclear deal.

“These sanctions have not achieved the desired results. Now is the time for the United States to take the wrong path and choose the right side,” he told the UN General Assembly.
