The UK is experiencing severe heat waves, with record-breaking temperatures and power outages due to equipment overheating. As a result, some unlucky people caught on a roller coaster at AltonTowers amusement park in Staffordshire were forced to go down a flight of stairs to reach the ground.
A guy named Dean shared a photo of the harrowing experience on Twitter. He wrote, “An Oblivion shuttle has stopped at the top, I’m sure the magic bottles of water will come right out in this heat.”

The guest made a thread on Twitter along with the images of people trapped on the roller coaster until the evacuation took place.
According to the post, water bottles were provided to the people experiencing the scorching heat.
He also said the ride could not start due to the evacuation process. Fortunately, there were no injuries during the evacuation process. The guests were given water bottles and a harness to walk back to the ground.
The record heat caused melted signal equipment and damaged train tracks in Britain on Wednesday. High temperatures severely disrupted train services across the UK.
