World-renowned businesswoman author Martha Stewart has faced widespread internet criticism after she used a “little iceberg” to chill her cocktail on a luxury cruise traveling from Iceland to Greenland.
The 82-year-old shared photos of her outing with her Instagram followers and said she caught an iceberg for the cocktail.
“We caught a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight,” she captioned her post.
In the photos posted by the businesswoman, she can be seen posing with her drink. The second image shows two pieces of ice on a black cart, possibly the one she used to cool her drink.

After uploading the photos to Instagram, her post received disapproving comments from followers. Many pointed to the ongoing climate crisis.
One user wrote, “I generally like Martha and the excesses of her life because he’s about beautiful gardens, houses and food, but rich white people drinking their iceberg cocktails while the planet is on fire are a little tone-deaf. “
Another user wrote, “Martha, the ice caps are melting, don’t put them in your drink.”
“Martha, I love you. But didn’t you just mention climate change while you were washing up in your driveway in New York? Melting icebergs for a cocktail certainly won’t help.
