Police in Colombia seized more than 1,300 kilograms of cocaine disguised as frozen potatoes and French fries ABC news reported. Authorities said they consider it one of the most innovative drug trafficking efforts in recent years, the report said.
The lack of an expiration date raised alarm bells, according to the police.

The drug bust was highlighted by the Colombian Ministry of National Defense on Twitter on Thursday, along with a video of the narcotics control process.
“The @PoliciaColombia intelligence agency dealt a serious blow to the drug trade by seizing a shipment of refrigerated and vacuum-sealed cocaine simulating yuccas and Creole potatoes. The shipment was destined for Spain,” the tweet said.
Recently in India, in view of an increase in drug smuggling to the maximum-security Tihar prison in Delhi, prison authorities are planning to deploy a dog brigade to curb the threat.

According to a senior official, a four-member dog unit is being set up in front of Tihar prison. It will then be extended to the Rohini and Mandoli prisons of the national capital.
According to the official, authorities would purchase puppies to be trained along with two attendants at the training centers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and the Border Security Force (BSF).
