Musk responded to news reports that Trump would soon be indicted.
Billionaire Elon Musk has claimed former United States president Donald Trump would be re-elected in a “landing victory” if indicted by Manhattan prosecutors.
Musk was responding to news reports that Trump would be indicted next week. “If this happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory,” Musk tweeted today on the microblogging site. It should be noted that Twitter’s CEO said this in response to a Fox News report detailing how Trump could be “handcuffed,” “fingerprinted and processed,” and “escorted to court.”

Mr Trump himself posted on his Truth Social platform that he expects to go to jail on Tuesday, adding that his fans should “protest” to “take our nation back”. He said: “Illegal leaks from a corrupt and highly political office of the District Attorney in Manhattan. The far and wide leading Republican nominee and former President of the United States of America will be arrested next Tuesday. Protest, take our country back !”
“They are killing our nation as we sit back and watch. We must save America! Protest, protest, protest!!!” he continued.
If the Manhattan district attorney indicts Mr Trump, the 76-year-old would become the first former president to be charged with a crime in the United States.
According to a post in the Independenta representative for Mr. Trump stressed that there is currently no information on the exact date of an indictment.
“There has been no report, other than illegal leaks from the Justice Department and the District Attorney’s office, to NBC and other fake news outlets, that the George Soros-funded radical left Democratic Attorney General in Manhattan has decided to extend its witch hunt to the next level. President Trump rightly emphasizes his innocence and the weaponization of our injustice system. He’ll be in Texas next weekend for a huge get-together. Make America Great Again!” the spokesman said in a statement.
