Billionaire Elon Musk, who took over Twitter for $44 billion last month, shared a “real” photo of the company’s headquarters in San Francisco, United States, on Friday.
“Twitter headquarters is awesome (this is a real photo),” Musk said in the caption of the image that featured “#GameOver” written on what appeared to be a green fake plant wall. “This is from the video arcade & bar,” he wrote in the following tweet.

Mr. Musk’s tweets come after it was announced that the microblogging website had suspended the $8 subscription program launched earlier this week to combat a growing problem of users posing as big brands. It also comes after Twitter reinstated the “official” one given to some accounts just days after it was deleted.
Ever since Elon Musk became Twitter’s new boss and allowed paying subscribers to get verified blue ticks, the company has struggled with scammer accounts. From a verified but fake account of American basketball player Lebron James to a fake Nintendo of America account with a blue check mark, several users have abused the new feature to impersonate others.

This led the company to bring back the “official” tag, which it had thrown out just hours after its launch on Wednesday. “To prevent impersonation, we have added an ‘official’ label to some accounts,” Twitter Support tweeted today.
Elon Musk, on the other hand, tweeted, “Going forward, accounts engaged in parody should include “parody” in their name, not just in bio”. “To be more precise, accounts that do parody impersonations. Basically it’s not okay to fool people,” he clarified.
