SpaceX could launch a Starship missile system in March, billionaire chief Elon Musk said in a tweet Saturday.
“If the remaining tests go well, we will attempt a Starship launch next month,” Musk said in response to a user’s tweet about Starship.
Musk had said in January that there was a “real chance” of launching Starship in late February, adding that a launch attempt in March seems highly likely.
SpaceX has been looking to launch its giant Starship into orbit for the first time since last year, a crucial demonstration flight as it aims to fly NASA astronauts to the moon.
