A fire at an electricity station that has forced the closure of Heathrow Airport “under control”, said London Fire Brigade on Friday.
“This was a very visible and important incident, and our firefighters worked tirelessly in challenging circumstances to control the fire as quickly as possible,” said the Assistant Commissioner Pat Goulbourne of London Fire Brigade.
