New Delhi:
Six days after Pakistan decided to close his airspace for all flights owned by and are operated by Indian carriers, New Delhi has announced a mutual step by closing his airspace to all operations of Pakistan.
Both India and Pakistan have now blocked each other's airlines over their airspace until 11:59 pm UTC on May 23 (5:29 am Ist on May 24). These can be revised closer to that date. A notam or notification to air missions was released by New Delhi, with the text: “Indian Airspace not available for Pakistan registered planes and planes that are operated or rented by Pakistan Airlines. These include military flights.”
The move comes in the midst of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan in the aftermath of the horrible terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam in which 26 tourists were shot by terrorists with ties to Pakistan. The terror attack was religiously motivated and came days after an inflammatory speech by the Army of Pakistan, General Asim Munir.
With his already tense tires that deteriorate further and at a time when Pakistan fears for military action by India, avoided flights from Pakistan at least the Indian airspace. But with an official announcement from India, the flights are not allowed, even if they wanted to.
Flights from Pakistan, which are planned for destinations in Southeast Asia and Oceania, will now have to circumvent India. This will put a huge burden for the Pakistani carriers who are already cashed in cash, while also considerably increasing the travel time.
While India has taken a number of diplomatic punitive measures, including the “Deviation” of the Indus Waters-Convention, Pakistani military diplomatic staff explains to the Supreme Commission as “Persona Non Grata”, the closing of all its border posts, and the cancellation of all vision of Indian Airlines, and Septs ToPends ToPends ToPends ToPends ToPends to SPEPSPENDED Suspended “all seping to suspended” bilateral pacts, including the simla agreement “.
Pakistan is worried about an imminent military offensive by India, which has sworn action to take action against those responsible for the terror attack in Kashmir's Pahalgam. India has promised to go to the “ends of the earth” to find terrorists and their supporters and to punish them “outside their imagination”.
