In his second term, US President Donald Trump brought three Indian Americans on board the key roles. Ricky Gill will take responsibilities with regard to South and Central Asia at the National Security Council (NSC) as a senior director. Saurabh Sharma has been appointed in the presidential staff agency, aimed at staff and agreements.
Former journalist Kush Desai arrives as a deputy press secretary for a role in the communication strategy of the White House.

Ricky Gill
Ricky Gill, an expert in international relations, has returned to the National Security Council (NSC), where he was previously during the first term of Trump's director of Russia and European energy security. In addition to his work at the NSC, he served as a senior adviser at the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
After leaving the administration, Mr Gill Gill Capital Group led as director and general counselor and acted as an adviser for European and Asian energy for TC Energy, the company behind the Keystone XL pipeline. This project, partially green illuminated by Trump, was stopped by Joe Biden.
Mr. Gill, born in Lodi, New Jersey, obtained a bachelor's degree at Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University and a diploma at the University of California, Berkeley.
Saurabh Sharma
Saurabh Sharma, born in Bengaluru, recently served as President of American Moment, a conservative organization focused on personnel development, according to Polico.
He graduated in 2019 with a diploma in biochemistry at the University of Texas in Austin. In the same year, during the first term of Donald Trump, Mr Sharma was one of the 10 student activists invited to the White House, because the president signed an executive order that approached freedom of expression at College campuses.
Kush Desai
Kush Desai, an experienced communicator, has held various key roles in Republican campaigns and organizations. He was recently deputy communication director for the Republican National Convention 2024. Before that he served as a communication director for the Republican Party of Iowa.
Mr. Desai was also the deputy battlefield states and Pennsylvania Communications Director at the Republican National Committee. In this position he played an important role in shaping the messages of the party in critical battlefield states, including the always important Pennsylvania.
