Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar shared his concerns about the safety and well-being of the Indian community in the UK with his British counterpart James Cleverly and welcomed his assurances on this.

“Shared my concern for the safety and well-being of the Indian community in the UK. welcomed its commitments in that regard,” Jaishankar said.
During his meeting with Bolivian Foreign Minister Rogelio Mayta, Mr. Jaishankar said he spoke about “our development partnership and expanding our economic engagement. Exchanged views on global developments.”
After meeting Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt, Mr Jaishankar said he “appreciated our continued cooperation in the UN Security Council. Discussed our Scandinavian partnership, Afghanistan, Ukraine and climate action.”
He also met Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu and “discussed deepening bilateral cooperation after the opening of our embassy. He also exchanged views on developments regarding Ukraine.”
Mr. Jaishankar hosted the 10th India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Trilateral Ministerial Committee Meeting and reviewed the IBSA process and acknowledged its activities.
“Valued the promotion of South-South cooperation, including on global and multilateral issues. Reiterated commitment to reformed multilateralism,” he said.
Brazilian Foreign Minister Carlos Franca and South Africa’s Health Minister Joe Phaahla attended the meeting.
