Aravind Srinivas, the CEO of the Indian Origin of the AI search engine Pertlexity AI, is not new for controversies. He recently challenged his Tesla opposite Elon Musk to “stop” him if he can to increase a gigantic sum of the federal agency.
“Consider picking up $ 500 billion from USAID. Financing protected. Stop me if you can @elonmusk What is USAID?” Mr. Srinivas posted on X.
The position came days after US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk called on to close the federal agency.
On Friday, a federal court ordered a temporary break for the administration plan to place 2,200 USAID employees with paid leave.
Who is Aravind Srinivas
Aravind Srinivas is the co-founder and CEO of Pertlexity AI, an AI-driven search engine supported by prominent investors, including Jeff Bezos.
Founded in 2022, Perplexity AI was founded by Mr. Srinivas alongside Andy Konwinski, Denis Yarats and Johnny Ho.
Araavind Srinivas is an alumnus of Iit-Madras, who was promoted to the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Srinivas started his career as a research trainee at OpenAi, and later lay comparable roles at large technology companies such as Google and DeepMind.
Before he was a perplexity AI co-founder, he returned to OpenAi as a research scientist.
