Apple has sent out invites for its annual event on Tuesday. The product reveal showcase will take place on September 12 at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. The event begins at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (10:30 p.m. IST). The invite also features an Apple logo in shades of blue and gold that reads: “Wonderlust.”
While the invite didn’t explicitly specify which products will debut, the tech giant is likely to unveil its next-generation iPhone 15 series. Apple usually introduces new hardware products during the annual event, mainly the latest iPhone series and Apple Watch models.
What can you expect from the annual Apple event?
This year, four new models are expected to be unveiled on September 12, including two standard iPhone 15 models and two high-end iPhone 15 Pro variants.
According to The Times Of India, the iPhone 15 series will most likely include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to feature a periscope camera, one of the main highlights of the iPhone 15 series. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to be powered by the A17 Bionic processor, which is believed to be a significant upgrade over the A16 Bionic processor, an essential part of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus .
If we are to believe the rumors, Apple will equip the iPhone 15 series with a completely new action button. It gives users quick access to certain functions and applications. The iPhone 15 Pro may lack the periscope lens that allows for more optical zoom. In addition to their unique features, iPhones are popularly known for their cameras. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus may have a 48-megapixel main camera.
Apple is also expected to unveil two new models of the Apple Watch: a second-generation Apple Watch Ultra and the Apple Watch Series 9.
Apple may also announce a rollout date for iOS 17 along with other iOS updates.
Apple’s annual event will be streamed live on the technology giant’s website, official YouTube channel and on the Apple TV application, which can be accessed from iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
