Tel Aviv:
Israeli airstrikes hit more than a hundred terrorist targets in Gaza overnight, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced Friday morning.
A senior member of the Hamas naval forces who took part in the October 7 attacks on communities in the Gaza region was killed. The IDF said a group of terrorists planning to fire missiles at a plane was foiled by a targeted attack.
The attacks destroyed tunnel shafts, ammunition depots and dozens of operational headquarters, the IDF said.
Terror infrastructure and weapons were destroyed at a mosque in Gaza’s Jabaliya neighborhood, which the army said was also used as an observation post and gathering point for Hamas personnel.
