Jerusalem:
The Israeli army said that his armed forces will stay on five “strategic points” in Lebanon after Tuesday, when the deadline for junk is retracted from the neighboring country -the Fires is going.
“Based on the current situation, we leave small amounts of troops temporarily in five strategic points along the border in Lebanon, so that we can continue to defend our residents and ensure that there is no immediate threat” Journalists on Monday.
“This is a temporary measure until the Lebanese armed forces can fully implement the concept”.
The Israel-Hezbollah-Straak-Furen has been in force since 27 November, after more than two months of full war in which Israel has launched ground activities.
Under the deal, the army of Lebanon in the south had to use the United Nations Peace Enforcements when the Israeli army withdrew over a period of 60 days that was later extended until 18 February.
Hezbollah would withdraw to the north of the Litani River – about 30 kilometers (20 miles) from the border – and dismantle any remaining military infrastructure in the south.
A committee involving the United States, France, Lebanon, Israel and UN Vredes enforcers, has the task of ensuring that any cease -the fires is identified and treated.
“This is what we have discussed with the mechanism, and (this is what) has been agreed to move forward, a temporary placement of our forces in these five points for the defense of our people,” said Shoshani.
Officials in Lebanon have requested the full withdrawal of Israel by Tuesday, after Israeli troops missed the earlier deadline in January.
