Washington:
Indian-American Republican Leader Nikki Haley on Tuesday announced the dozens of delegates she won earlier this year during her party's presidential primaries for presumptive nominee Donald Trump.
Haley makes the move ahead of the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Trump will be formally nominated as the party's presidential candidate for the November 5 general election.
“The nominating convention is a moment for Republican unity. Joe Biden is not competent to serve a second term and Kamala Harris would be a disaster for America. We need a president who will hold our enemies accountable, secure our borders, pay down our debt, and get our economy back on track. I encourage my delegates to support Donald Trump next week in Milwaukee,” Haley said in a statement.

Haley had won 97 delegates to Biden's 2,265. A candidate needs 1,215 delegates to win the GOP presidential nomination. She suspended her campaign in March.
The former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and governor of South Carolina are not attending the RNC.
“She wasn't invited and that's fine with her. Trump deserves the convention he wants. She's made it clear she's voting for him and wishes him well,” Haley's spokesman Chaney Denton said.
