In a representation of courage, the Malaysian tourist Farah Putri Mulyani saved a local drowning man in the Diyaluma -Waterfall from Sri Lanka. The incident took place when the man who swam in the waterfall accidentally ventured into the deep and started to struggle to float. His ailing friends screamed for help, but it was Mrs. Mulyani, who was in the neighborhood, who quickly took action.
A video of the salvation shows her in the water and swims to the man before she brings him to safety with great effort. Once they reached the coast, the man's friends helped him away from the water, shaken but grateful for Mrs. Mulyani's quick thinking and selfless act.
Mrs. Mulyani later shared the video on social media, told the experience and gave others warning to others about the potential dangers lurking below the surface of waterfalls.
In the video she said: “This incident shifted the focus of my journey completely. It made me realize that more people should be aware of the potential dangers at waterfalls. The swimming pools can be incredibly deep and without a stream to help you swim swim , it becomes even more dangerous, especially if you are not a strong swimmer.
