Shortly after announcing radical mutual rates that will influence all countries that impose rates on American goods, Donald Trump spoke about how India “is at the top of the peloton” when it comes to rates. President Trump's comments come hours before his bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which the two leaders will discuss the entire range of India-U tires. Rates are high on the agenda.
Speaking with reporters on the Oval Office after making the announcement for mutual rates, President Trump said, “Allies are often worse than enemies” and said that the US is now imposing a tit-for tat rate on all nations that imposes rates on rates American goods.
