Tel Aviv:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to continue military operations in Gaza and emphasized that Israel should continue to fight to guarantee the survival, despite an increasing opposition, according to a report of CNN.
In a pre -recorded video on Saturday evening, Netanyahu said that Israel has “no choice”, but to keep fighting “for our own existence for victory.”
Netanyahu insisted on “perseverance and resilience” when beating Hamas and saving the 59 hostages that are still held in Gaza.
Netanyahu called Hamas's refusal of a recent Israeli cessation -the proposal proposal that Israel will continue his bombing of Gaza. Israel's proposal called for the disarmament of Gaza and contained no permanent end to the war, both of which were red lines for Hamas, CNN reported.
“If we now surrender to the demands of Hamas, all the enormous performance of our soldiers, our cases and our wounded heroes will just be lost,” said Israeli PM.
In the meantime, the headquarters of the Gijzelaar Families Forum criticized the latest address of Netanyahu and accused him of missing a clear “plan” to obtain the release of hostages.
“Many words and slogans will not succeed in hiding the simple truth – Netanyahu has no plan. It is no surprise that there was no time for questions – otherwise he should answer the most simple: what exactly is the state of Israel to bring all 59 hostages back,” the forum said.
Earlier, Israeli soldiers had signed a letter in which the war in Gaza and negotiations were made to accelerate the return of indigenous prisoners from the war -torn territory.
Earlier this week, Jazeera mentioned the Israeli army radio and stated that a group of 150 Golani Brigade -members joined the call to end the war, as a result of which their names have been added to thousands of others in a sign of abnormal opinions that the Israeli government have alerted.
Various petitions have been circulating within the Israeli army since last week. The first was signed by 1,000 Israeli Air Force reserves and was followed by others who circulated among veterans and officers who served within the armored corps, navy and other military units.
